Teaching a class? The teacher resources add printable sheets, a worksheet and a projector mode.

No ads, no tracking

No cookies or analytics inside the widget. Audio never leaves the visitor’s device.

Fits any layout

A compact layout that works from 300 px wide, on phones and desktops.

How to add the tuner to your site

  1. Choose a tuning and a size above. The preview shows exactly what your visitors will see.
  2. Click Copy code.
  3. Paste it into an HTML block (in WordPress: the “Custom HTML” block). Keep the allow="microphone" attribute so the tuner can hear the guitar.

Questions

Is the guitar tuner widget free?

Yes. The widget is free for personal sites, blogs, guitar teachers and music schools. There are no ads in the tuner and no sign-up.

Why does the embed code include allow="microphone"?

Browsers block the microphone inside iframes unless the embedding page allows it. Without that attribute the tuner can still play reference tones, but it cannot hear the guitar, and it shows a link to open the full tuner instead.

Does the widget track my visitors?

No. The widget sets no cookies and loads no analytics. Audio is analyzed in the visitor’s browser and never uploaded.

Can I embed a tuner for a specific tuning?

Yes. Choose any of our 89 tunings above, from Drop D to DADGAD and 7-string tunings, and the code updates automatically.
