How do I tune my guitar with this online tuner?
Allow microphone access and hold your device near the guitar. Play one open string at a time, let the note ring, and turn the tuning peg until the tuner reads “In tune.” Tune up if it shows flat, down if it shows sharp.
Is this online guitar tuner free?
Yes. It runs in your browser with no app, account or ads. The tuner listens through your microphone and shows whether each string is flat, sharp or in tune.
What are the notes in standard guitar tuning?
Standard six-string tuning is E–A–D–G–B–E, from the thickest string to the thinnest. The tuner above starts in Standard E.
Can I use it for Drop D and other tunings?
Yes. Pick Drop D or any of the 89 presets in the tuning directory, and the tuner switches its target notes to match.
Why isn’t the tuner picking up my string?
Check that your browser has microphone permission, reduce background noise, and pluck the string again a little harder. You can also play a reference tone for each string to tune by ear.
